一位同學首先介紹自己說：hello everyone，i’m from river north......
“什麼？”來自哪裏？全場師生都蒙了，這位同學到底來自哪裏？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對，他來自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語老師也是頭一次見，今天學到一個新詞了！全場鬨堂大笑！
這位同學剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學站了起來，他首先介紹了自己叫什麼名字，然後說：i’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國應該沒這個省，難道這位同學說的是我國的某個市？廣安？對，四川省廣安市！不對，我來自遼寧省！全場又蒙了！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長見識了。
接着另外一位同學也站了起來，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“i am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學的介紹，大家這回都有心理準備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的`意思，construct是建造、創立的意思，兩個放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個省呢？“湖建”，終於發現了，是福建！這個翻譯太有才了，跟福建當地口音結合不錯，一般人真猜不出來是什麼意思！全場再次爆笑！
這就是中國式英語的魅力，我們就是這麼韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內蒙古等等。
小地名也有很多，door head valley是北京市門頭溝，west double flag是北京西二旗，哈哈哈！
